We hope we love it: it is winter here and will built it in spring. We will let you know when we put it together.

I am very happy with purchasing this gazebo. Every piece fit exactly as it should. Every piece was in the box that was supposed to be. I put it together completely by myself, (It took a total of about 15 hours. Would be way less with help). 6x6 legs / wood frame pre-stained. (Wood feels very light). Metal roof has metal frame. Came in 2 boxes. Very heavy, (about 450+ lbs.). I picked it up at the store since there was a fee to deliver. I would recommend buying this, even though it was made in China.

The gazebo arrived in two large boxes. All the components arrived safely and all the bolts and screws were neatly packaged in a special container. The instruction manual needs some work. I stained the wood iblack. It took about to coating to acheive optimal results I created four concrete footing to secure the gazebo to the ground (12” W x 24” D tubes) and to meet local code requirement. All in all the Gazebo was a great investment.

We were looking for something a little different than the standard gazebo, and came across this back in May. I saved it as a bookmark, then the next day got an email from Home Depot notifying me that the price had dropped by $300, so we made the purchase that day. We though it would take a while to arrive, which would be fine as we were having a new deck built for it. It showed up early, about a week and a half after ordering it. We had some delays with the deck and started setting this up at the end of July. We had already opened the boxes and saw the quality of the wood, but when we finally unpacked everything it was pretty clear that this whole ‘kit’ was high quality. The instructions were very well written and extremely easy to follow. The parts were highly organized and labeled, and there were plenty of extra pieces included in case anything was missing (nothing was missing). We saw some other reviews where customers were saying it takes several days and several people to assemble this, but that was not our experience. It was just two of us, my wife and I, and it took one weekend, a total of about 10 hours. It is an absolute must to have a good power drill/screwdriver to make the assembly go faster. We have to assume that the others who spent days putting this together were doing it all manually with wrenches and screwdrivers. Erecting the assembled posts was also easy, and we had no issues reaching the highest points on the roof with step ladders. It has been up for almost two months now and has already been through torrential rains and a tropical storm. Nothing moved even slightly, not a single roof panel (they shouldn’t when installed correctly), and our new furniture and carpet stayed dry through the rains. This is by far one of the best designed and highest quality DIY products we have ever purchased.

Gazebo came much sooner then expected. Not an easy build, but, with a grandson who can build anything it was completed in about 8 hours by 3 men. He also added additional screws to hold down the roof where others have flapping unsecured edges. No missing or damaged pieces. We picked the packages up at the store. I'd highly recommend this gazebo.

This gazebo is amazing. It's beautifully built. We purchased this in June 2020. I had someone install it for me but I painted all the wood parts white first. It really exceeded my expectations. The delivery was excellent and the product was packed exceptionally well. The wood is a cedar not from the US, so not western red cedar but is still beautiful. Looks like it will hold up for many years. We've had it for 3 summer months and it hasn't changed a bit yet. Time will tell but I have high hopes.

Looks amazing, easy to put together, but the instructions were off, called for a part that wasn’t in the box, called customer support, no help, realized they gave 6 of another part that only called for 2 in the instructions, the other 4 were able to be used to replace the missing pieces. But looks great.

It was not easy to assemble. It took three of us two full days. You have to be very patient to make sure everything is level, plumb, and square as you go. Several times we had to loosen bolts in order to move things around to get them to fit. But if you go slow, follow the directions, and make sure everything fits right, you'll be very pleased! You couldn't buy a better product!

Overall I was really happy on how it came out couple pieces were missing but the quality is really

Great purchase! Very nice gazebo...
It was so great! Very nice look and sturdy, it coms without any damage and all parts together. Hope it can last long.
Andy
Amazing! Great value, VERY well built. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

Took awhile to set up, but that was to be expected. Put it together with two people. The roof panels are very heavy so had the be careful with those. Great quality product and we are very happy with the end result!
Erin
Even better than expected. It seems very solid and looks amazing on our patio.

Had installer put together on concrete patio. Love it so far!!

Very sturdy. Pretty easy going up, 2 people definitely makes it easier. I cant wait to see how it holds up in the winter!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It was more time consuming then stated! It took 3 people about 5-6 hours (had breaks and ate lunch) It's good they had knowledge on construction, because the instructions were not too clear. We were tired of the metal frame and canvas top gazebos. Would highly recommend! GREAT investment! Up 1 week already.

My husband and I built the 12x10 gazebo on a recent weekend in June (we are in our early 60's). Overall, it was not too difficult. I bought it online, and had it shipped to my home. It came in two very big, long boxes that were wrapped together. Weighed about 500-600 pounds (can't remember exactly). The delivery guy wheeled it all the way up my long driveway and dropped it off right by my patio. There were no missing parts or damaged parts. We built it on top of our brick patio which has a 3" concrete pad under the bricks. We absolutely love the gazebo and use it every day! We love it so much, we just bought the 8x8 size gazebo for another area of our patio. Highly recommend!
Rene
It took us about 8 hours overall to built it. It was well worth it!

We chose the Sunjoy Archwood Gazebo due to the favorable reviews it received. It came to the store in two flat but large boxes (pick up truck is plenty to pick it up with straps). We laid it all out on our patio and as well as all the hardware on patio table. I assembled the majority of it myself with help with my wife who was the hardware manager. (Highly recommend one person in charge of hardware and one primarily assembly). The instructions were primarily illustrated pictures which to me are much better than a lot of written instructions. The roof can be tricky as I did it in the air on a ladder but you get a fast learning curve after the first few pieces are in place. I was impressed with the overall quality of of the materials and overall look. I would highly recommend this product. Very satisfied with the results. Took us a day and a half to complete.

It’s a little bit tricky to put all together but if you will read and really going to look for the manual it is really not bad. My husband, my son and myself all do this on our own, it’s takes us at least a day and a half but not because when it’s really hot outside we do stop but all in all it was great to hang around with family and friends.

This Gazebo was everything I wanted in a gazebo. It is gorgeous, sturdy, well built, all parts were labeled, and my husband put it together by himself with only a little help from me here and there when needed. I have had so many people ask me where we got it from. It transformed our deck.
Kiherrera
The product looks nice, great quality, a lot of parts but pretty easy to put together. I'm very pleased with this item.

Love this gazebo. Very sturdy and well built, high quality. Instructions were clear, its definitely a good sized project. We anchored it to our concrete patio, and within days had two major wind storms (60+ mph) and it held up just fine. We hung lights around the roof edge and added some roll up shades to prove shade on the sides when needed. Tip: use cable zip ties (not included) to secure the top of the metal roof plates to prevent them from flapping using the holes provided. Highly recommend this product!
Jacka55
Built this bad boy in a day with my son. It was hot and the roof burned a little as we built it. Cooled parts down in the pool so we could handle them.Tough for just the two of us to handle the four posts but got it done. Bottom line at least three people four would be better. Very happy with the final product.
Chas12549
Great building with excellent quality. You need 2 to 3 people and it can be up in less than a day. I highly recommend.
MurphysHangout
I recommend this product as it has exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were looking for something to provide shade near our pool, and this is perfect. As we like to do projects, the two of us put it together: it took 8 hours to complete. The shipping was quick, the number of pieces/parts was overwhelming at first, but the instructions were amazing and each part was labeled wonderfully. We placed this gazebo on top of our deck, and it fit perfectly. We are extremely pleased.

Product was just as described. Very sturdy structure. We have received lots of compliments on how beautiful it is. It does take a few days to assemble to assemble but that further illustrates the quality if the structure. Instructions are clear ans easy to follow. We are looking forward to many years of use.

Gazebo shipped one week earlier than what I was told through the email, which was nice. Two big, heavy boxes, I used a moving dolly and freight driver helped me roll them up the driveway from the street (had to do it twice). Lots of pieces, I took my time organizing each, which helped in building it. Directions said you would need help from other people at certain points, but I put it up all by myself, no help. I used two A frame ladders in order to do it. Only spot that was tricky was standing posts up and connecting the other post to them. When I had a cross beam connect to two post, I picked it up and leaned it against one sturdy ladder (make sure there is no wind) after that I did an end piece to connect to one of the standing posts. Once three post are connected you should be good to go. First day took me about 6 hours. All post up, cross supports and all metal framing for the roof. Second day about 5 hours to complete rest. I have mine on a stamped concrete patio so I used concrete screws to give it extra support as I get a lot of wind in my area. Good project and looks great when done. Time will tell how it will hold up.

This is a good product great materials, directions and instructions are a little confusing but if you take your time and double check it’s not too hard. Very sturdy. Purchased ours on sale. Best deal out there for the quality. 10x12. Steve C

It took a day and a half to put together but the instructions are very easy to follow. This is an amazing gazebo and worth every penny that we paid. It’s very solid in structure and looks great on my patio. If your considering a gazebo this is the one.

Everything came packed and well-organized. I was very impressed to find extra bolts, nuts and screws. I had pre-poured the footings based on the published measurements using 12” Quikrete tubes. The four corners aligned perfectly and, with the help of my hammer drill, I got things up in no time. Total assembly (alone) took just under 8 hours. Under it I built a raised dais using Silca grates on a wood joist structure and then put pavers on top. Fabulous outcome. We couldn’t be happier.

A great product worth every penny. All parts packaged well and hardware even came with extra pieces in the event you lose one. Took 5 people about 5 hours. Be sure to lay everything out grouping all the pieces and hardware together it will save a lot of time. 2 people on ladders and people handing them hardware helps a lot. We had no issues with fitment or product quality. We would recommend getting qty of 16 5/16 by 1 1/2 anchors to mount to concrete patio. A very sturdy product we expect to last many years.

After a full day of putting up the Archwood cedar gazebo I decided to give it a review. The directions are all illustrated but could use some better description to help clear up a little confusion you might have when assembling. Very sturdy but only time will tell on how well it will hold up in upstate NY weather. Very nice looking with the cedar and metal roof combo. I wanted a metal roof gazebo so I can leave it up all year long. Plan on at least 4 people and 2 step ladders to set the posts and roof framing. The rest 1 person can do but extra hands will speed up the build. Plan on an all day project. I poured concrete to drill and anchor it so I don't have to worry about the wind. All in all I would highly recommend it especially when it's on sale.

Bought it last November, just installed it few days ago. Looks very intimidating BUT once you get started,it was just so easy...spent an hour juat to get all parts out of the box and arranging them nicely.Took me 12 hours installing by myself. My friend does help me put up the small roof foundation, other than that,I can easily install all parts by myself. Look so sturdy and I even installed a mosquito netting to it. Cant wait till next winter to see how it holds the snow. For now, itwas the BEST gazebo you can buy dollar for dollar
Christo
So far so good! The assembly was about 6 hours by myself but that was to be expected. The hardest part was getting the heavy boxes home and off of my truck. Everything fit together perfectly with no missing parts and plenty of hardware - they included at least one extra of all the hardware. Have not mounted it yet but we sit under it every night with the latest stay at home orders and it has been perfect for what we wanted. To date nothing has weathered or worn. Will add an additional review after the first 6 months or year.

We love this gazebo. My husband was able to put it together by himself, with only a little help from me to support the posts here and there while he was on the ladder. Our patio set has stayed dry, too. We can't wait for summer by the pool

this is the first time having a gazebo. Its took me to assemble this product a total of 12hrs (6hrs a day) with a help of my son and my wife. Simple to assemble if you can follow with the instruction provided with the product. love this this gazebo

I have build Gazebo's and other covers in my years from scratch. But never thought I would receive such a awesome product compared to what I could build. The instructions were very simple to read and assemble took us about 6 hours with 3 people including a couple of breaks for food and drinks. It came in 2 big boxes from Sunjoy through homedepot on a fedex truck and weighted around 600 pounds. Took me about an 45 minutes to unbox everything and move it to the backyard for install. All components were marked with letters and numbers as the instructions stated from start to finish. Once I got it in the backyard I organized the parts using the instructions which took about 30 minutes then started the assembly.I used (4) 16x16x4 cemet pads that i bolted to concrete that was already in the ground from an older cover removed years ago.The soft cedar wood was easy to screw the screws into using just a Phillips screwdriver , but of course to speed things up i used my low torque drill and this made things go much faster. Just remember when putting together do not over tighten the screws as the instructions states this because the wood is so soft you can strip the screws or crack the wood. You will also need 2 to 4 ladders I used (2) 6' and (2) 10' ladders. I used the 10' ladders to put on the very top of the roof, made it easy to reach the bolts to screw them down so I would not need to reach or put my weight on the roof. Also it came with extra bolts and nuts. when putting the roof together best to leave the bolts a little lose for any adjustments you might need to make and then go back and tighten them. This is all in the instructions as well. Like I stated at the beginning this is such an awesome Gazebo from Sunjoy and the workmanship Sunjoy put into it is outstanding. We look forward to spending many years under it grilling and relaxing once I finish leveling and adding the brick flooring. THANKS SUNJOY FOR MAKING SUCH A AWESOME PRODUCT

Can't wait for summer! With some help from the kids this gazebo went up pretty quickly. When spring arrives I need to pour a concrete slab to affix it to. However, in the interim, winter bonfires here we go!

This Sunjoy Archwood gazrbo is really well designed. This is not some cheap looking gazebo but a very modern looking and attractive one. All the components are precision made to fit together. The frame is made of cedar which resists termites. The metal top, framing and hardware are well coated for protection. It comes with rods for installing netting. The instructions are clear but must be read before attempting assembly. This is a two person job to put up but if you are handy you might be able to do it yourself, I did and though it took a bit longer but it went together perfectly. It was shipped in two well packaged boxes and there are many components which are clearly marked. The end result is well worth the work. I plan on putting a deck under it also.

They say a man's house is his castle and if he has this gazebo in his yard it is his Summer Palace. Such a regal and dignified structure, it looks a little out of place next to my pole barn workshop. The box arrived so I parked one of our cars in the driveway and stored it in my garage as it is rainy season here. The two boxes weigh 575 pounds. Two of us were able to load them into a pickup and drive it out back where it was assembled. There are two boxes, one is the wooden structural components and the other is hardware and the roof panels. Instructions recommend 4 people on the build. Not blessed with a lot of friends I needed to hire some help. I called a local homebuilder and as it turned out he was between jobs and available. The instructions indicated that all parts had labels on them. While the hardware and roof panels had obvious stickers with numbers on them I didn't see any labels on the wood components. I was concerned so I called the help line shown on the instructions. Someone there emailed me the dimensions on the wood. Afterward I looked closer and saw the "labels" were small numbers stamped on the endgrain of each piece of wood. Telling this may help someone else. The instructions show this being built on turf and some 8 inch by about 3/8 inch spikes being used to anchor it to the ground. I don't think that's a good idea. Remember those 8 inch spikes they will come up later. In fact there were supposed to be 8 bolts 10mm x 200mm that attach the legs to the top plate. They were nowhere to be found but there was an extra pack of the 8 spikes that go into the ground instead. Eight 1/2 inch by 8 inch bolts, and the required nuts, and washers were quickly bought at a local hardware, then the hole was drilled out to a half inch. This should be built on a deck or a slab. I told the builder I wanted to pour 4 concrete pads, 18 inches square to set the feet on. He talked me into a 11ft. x 13ft. slab. Now that it's done I can see he was correct and this was the better choice. Construction flowed along. Out of all the boards that make this up there was only one banana (curved board) in the bunch. Another spot had too much material removed on the end lap joint, picture included. We made it work. We spent one day pouring the slab, another day building the frame, and a third day was spent putting the roof on. The roof panels were very nice and being pieces of sheetmetal one would expect the edges to be sharp but they were all surprisingly smooth and a pleasure to handle and work with. There are curtain rods nicely permanently attached as part of the assembly This .SUNJOY ARCHWOOD 12 FT. X 10 FT. CEDAR FRAMED GAZEBO WITH STEEL HARDTOP is a product of great quality. It is sturdy and great looking. When I called the helpline I talked to Francis and he was very professional and polite. I like this gazebo so much I won't even take a star off for the missing bolts. Anyone can make a mistake. It is still a five star product. One thing that would be a help when building this would be a 10mm box ratchet. It comes with little wrenches and they came in handy in the tight spots and we used the drill driver in other spots but a 10 mm box ratchet would have helped. I look forward to enjoying this gazebo for many years. Now I have to find a proper throne to put in there.

Deal in a box! The quality is great. It has already snowed in WI, but I still get to enjoy the great outdoors under my now covered patio area. I added a firepit which works great with the 2-tiered roof (the ventilation is perfect). I looked at the assembly instructions prior to making the purchase and wondered a bit about the size of the project; it was totally OK. Within an hour I had the frame up and it took me a couple of more hours to complete it because I was admiring my work as I went along. No man cave needed anymore.
